C. Maria BacchusMD, MSc, FRCPC
Dr. C. Maria Bacchus completed her medical degree, internal medicine residency, general internal medicine fellowship and MSc in clinical epidemiology and health care research at the University of Toronto. She is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, University of Calgary where she was the Deputy Head, the Site Chief for Foothills Hospital and Vice Chair of Leadership and Mentorship for the Department of Medicine. Prior to this, she was the Head of GIM and Program Director for the Core Internal Medicine Training Program at the University Health Network, University of Toronto. Dr. Bacchus’ interests are in educational assessment, strategic planning and mentorship. She is presently the Chair of the Internal Medicine Exam Board and a Senior Advisor for the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada, as well as the past President for the Canadian Society of Internal Medicine.
