Emily G. McDonaldMD, MSc
Dr. Emily G. McDonald is an Associate Professor of Medicine at McGill University, in Montreal, Québec, in the Division of General Internal Medicine. She is also a Scientist at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre, Director of the Clinical Practice Assessment research Unit (CPAU) and Associate Chair of Quality and Safety within the Department of Medicine. Her research focuses on eliminating low value practice and promoting quality improvement and high value medical care for hospitalized patients. Special interests include deprescribing for older adults with polypharmacy. She is the co-creator of MedSafer, a software to guide clinicians through the process of deprescribing.
