Stéphane Groulx

Dr. Stéphane Groulx has had a dual career as a family physician and medical consultant in public health and preventive medicine in Quebec. Currently a consultant physician in clinical prevention at the Direction générale de la santé publique, Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux du Québec, he is mainly involved in the development and dissemination of the Guide des bonnes pratiques en prévention clinique of the Directeur national de la santé publique du Québec. Dr. Groulx is also an assistant professor of clinical teaching in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the Université de Sherbrooke and an associate member of the Centre de recherche Charles-LeMoyne — Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean sur les innovations en santé (CR-CSIS). He is a past member of the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care (2015-2019) and Chair of the Working Group on Esophageal Cancer Screening.
