As the Public Health Agency of Canada is planning the launch of a renewed task force for April 2026, the current Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care (CTFPHC) will end its work by March 31, 2026.
Before then, download clinical resources, clinician and patient tools, FAQs and decision aids for clinical practice. Recent guidelines include tobacco cessation, and screening for adult depression, breast cancer (draft), fragility fractures, chlamydia and gonorrhea and more.

Email CTFPHC@unityhealth.to and include your mailing address, number of packages and if you would like tools in English or French. Printed packages will be available to order until March 31, 2026, or until they run out.
What’s next?
The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is planning a renewed task force for April 2026. PHAC will ensure that access to materials developed by the current Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care remain available beyond April 2026.
