Since 2017, the Task Force has been contributing to an ongoing series of articles called Prevention in Practice and published in Canadian Family Physician. The series aims to provide primary care practitioners with concrete advice on how to implement preventive health evidence into their work and how to engage in shared, informed decision making with patients.
The article series covers topics including shared decision making, communicating the balance between benefits and harms, eliciting patient values and preferences, and using knowledge translation tools.
