The CTFPHC has released its next article within the Canadian Family Physician Prevention in Practice Series. The new article is on Knowledge Translation Tools in Preventive Health Care and is co-authored by Sharon Straus, Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Knowledge Translation and Quality of Care.
The authors write, “Knowledge Translation tools are resources and products that are meant to facilitate moving evidence into practice.” These tools can simplify and support information exchange between clinicians and patients in order to reach evidence-informed health decisions that are congruent with a patient’s values and preferences.
