Brenda J. Wilson

Brenda Wilson is a Professor in the School of Epidemiology, Public Health and Preventive Medicine at the University of Ottawa. She completed her medical degree at the University of Edinburgh, with residency training in internal medicine, and public health medicine, in the UK National Health Service. She is the former Director of Graduate Studies in Epidemiology, and of the Public Health and Preventive Medicine residency program at the University of Ottawa. Her research interests are in the evidence-based application of genetic knowledge in the health system, particularly in relation to patients, families, and primary care practitioners.
