CTFPHC article on Shared Decision Making published in Canadian Family Physician’s Prevention in Practice Series

The CTFPHC has released its next article within the Canadian Family Physician Article Series. The new article is on Shared Decision Making and is co-authored by France Légaré, Tier 1 Chairholder of the Canada Research Chair in Shared Decision Making

The authors write, “shared decision making offers a structured way to incorporate evidence as well as patient values and preferences into medical decision making. This process can support conversations leading to better-informed decisions congruent with what matters most to patients.”
